Basuki Questioned Tax of Grab Lamborghini

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama questioned about tax of luxury car Lamborghini that used for rental service. The program was launched by PT GrabTaxi Indonesia a couple of times ago. Considering, the car is one of the rare luxury cars.

I don't mind about Grab Taxi or Lamborghini, but it must pay tax of taxi

Basuki claimed does not mind about the car existence. But if it is used for rent it is supposed to pay tax.

"I don't mind about Grab Taxi or Lamborghini, but it must pay tax of taxi," said Basuki at City Hall, Monday (10/26).

The former Regent of East Belitung also questioned the car ownership that used by Grab Taxi. Because if includes of Grab Taxi assest it means there should be income tax.

But if the car is not Grab Taxi's, there should be insurance payment for passengers safety. As it is regulated on laws. All this time there are also many private vehicle renters who do not pay final tax.

"Then if they hold it as rented taxi, they must pay final tax, that's it. The problem is the renters who do not pay the tax," he disclosed.
